Jean Patiky is an exhibiting artist who presently resides in Providence, RI.  Her watercolors reflect her fascination with light and how it changes seasonally and geographically.  Her body of work reflects her many years of travel in the United States, Europe and Iceland.  The tropical light and intensely saturated colors of Miami influenced her work for over thirty years.  Now, returning to New England, the seasonal light changes inspire her. She has recently participated in several group and solo exhibits in Providence, Pawtucket, and Little Compton, RI.  Jean is an exhibiting artist member of the Providence Art Club and the Pawtucket Arts Collaborative.  In 2000, she launched her business, Patiky Hand-Signed Art cards which have been used as corporate gifts, sold at the Garden Gift Shop at the MFA Boston’s“Art in Bloom”, have been selected personally by Jack Lenor Larsen for the new museum shop INSTORE@Longhouse and are available at the Pollock-Krasner House Gift Shop, both in East Hampton, NY. Corporate clients include Flight Options, The Moorings Village Resort, and the Peabody Hotels. Resume
